Abstract: The Center of Alcohol Studies Library is a small, research library located within the larger Rutgers University Library system. The CAS library collects information regarding drugs and alcohol, including use, abuse, prevention and treatment. Recently the library updated their online collections to include new resources for the public. Specifically, the library created a number of bibliographies aimed at providing electronic resources to various populations. One particular bibliography was created to provide electronic information resources for children. This poster will compare anti-drug resources produced for children from Abolition period to the present. Utilizing the Center of Alcohol Studies collection of “Here’s Looking at You, 2000” Drug Education Program materials, the poster will compare these older, tangible resources with more current, electronic ones. This poster will show how anti-drug materials for children and the resources provided by the library have adapted with the growth of the World Wide Web.
