Meeting called to order 10:00 a.m.
Guest: Jim Marcum of Farleigh Dickinson has funding to host a seminar on libraries ten years from now. He would like to invite papers for a talk on this subject. Joanne will do a call for papers and will organize it through the Research Forum.
Will approach the NJLA board about a similar relationship between Delaware Valley ACRL and NJ ACRL as there is between NJ ACRL and NY ACRL. We will also try to put a link to the NY and Delaware Valley organizations on our web site.

meeting approved.
President’s Report: Past, current and future presidents attended the ACRL Chapters meeting at ALA. There is a push for regional cooperation, better communication and legislative awareness.
Mary, Ruth, Vibiana, and Fran went to the Vale Users Conference planning session. The theme is New Jersey Academic Libraries: Maintaining Excellence in Tough Financial Times.
Luis will chair a task force to look at bylaws, structure and affiliations of our organization. Jeris and Julie will also be on the task force. Julie will look at affiliations with other chapters.
Committee Reports:
Job Shadowing – Luis, planning for next year
Legislative – Luis will keep us alerted to upcoming legislation
User Education – There will be half day program on either 12/06 or 12/13 on instruction on an e-classroom.
The NJLA conference will be March 30-April 2 and the East Brunswick Hilton. The CUS program will probably be April 1. Program deadlines not yet set.
NJLA Executive Board – the job site will post jobs that don’t meet salary requirements. There will be other revisions to the site.
All section officers’ terms will begin July 1.
