Abstract:  The New Jersey Digital Highway (NJDH) is the state’s portal to digital collections of historical and cultural heritage collections. Throughout NJDH’s lifespan, both informal and formal evaluation activities have been conducted on NJDH services and collections. Many useful suggestions for improvement emerged, but the main theme was the need for more and deeper collections to support learning. This poster session will present an overview of the new services and practices developed in response, including: • E-Z Start – a service designed to get new NJDH collection partners up and running – fast and EZ! • Interactive modules to guide the process of digital collection development • A new and easy “Workflow Management System” (WMS) for continuing collection partners to submit digital objects and metadata to NJDH; and • New statewide leadership to guide the next iteration of NJDH.
