Abstract:Established in 2001, the NJHRIC offers a broad variety of resources and services experience in the State of New Jersey. Its three major components are: La Sala Hispanoamericana, home to the largest Spanish-language public library collection in the state; the Hispanic Reference Center; and the Puerto Rican Community Archives, a groundbreaking collection of primary resources on the history and culture of New Jersey's Puerto Rican community, the largest and oldest Latino group in the state.
