Abstract: The Consumer Health Committee of the Health Sciences Library Association of New Jersey (HSLANJ) recently posted a survey on listservs of the four New Jersey regional library cooperatives. The purpose of the survey was to learn about the provision of consumer health information in public libraries and the level of interest on the part of public librarians in continuing education opportunities in the area of consumer health. Over 250 responses were received. The results of the survey and the plans of the HSLANJ Consumer Health Committee developed from those results will be presented in this poster session.
