Call For Nominations for 2007 Research Award
The Research Committee of NJLA CUS/ACRL NJ Chapter seeks New Jersey librarians who are involved in, or have participated in, research projects, or have published their research during 2007.
The Research Award honors the best published library research of 2007. The winner(s) will be presented the Award at the College and University Section luncheon at the NJLA 2008 Conference, on May 1, 2008 at the Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch, NJ.
Nominations are due on February 4, 2008.
Call For Papers for 2008 Research Forum
To promote research by New Jersey librarians, the Research Committee of the NJLA College and University Section and the ACRL New Jersey Chapter seeks presenters for the Research Forum to be held at the NJLA Annual Conference on May 1, 2008, at the Ocean Place Conference Center, Long Branch.
New Jersey librarians who are involved in, or have participated in, any type of research project are invited to give a brief presentation of the project during the Forum. Please submit your application including: Name, Address, Telephone, Email, Title of Research, and Abstract of 150-200 words that specifies the significance of the research to the Chairs. Email submissions are preferred. Those selected for presentation will by notified in March, 2008.
Submissions are due on Monday, February 4, 2008.
