Abstract: We have an innovative writing workshop series for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders. It has been very popular. The kids have had a lot of fun with it. Writing practice improves language literacy. How to get authors to visit your library, presenting different writing genres such as comics, poetry, and biography, and why to undertake a program like ours. This program was mentioned in the NJLA newsletter in 2007- "Writing is hot, too!"
