The Lynne Livingston program at NJLA Spring Conference has been changed to Thursday. During August, the committee will sponsor a program on Learning Theory at Caldwell College. The proposal for a program on Information Literacy sponsored by the ACRL Initiatives Fund diminished its funding request to $2,500 to accommodate the grant funds available. Next meeting of the User Committee will be June 1.
Technology Committee (Steve Shapiro, for Zi-yu Lin)
The Technology Committee sponsored a program on March 17th at Brookdale Community College on the Electronic Classroom in the Library, highlighting the Altira Vision program for instructional technology in use there. The committee is also planning a workshop on FrontPage 2000 Web authoring software in the summer and another on DreamWeaver with CourseWare to create interactive tutorials; time and place for these programs to be announced on the ACALIBS listserv.

Jana Varlejs is the recipient of the Research Award for this year. The timing at the NJLA Spring Conference for the Research Committee Forum was changed to accommodate the ACRL NJ luncheon speakers.
