Part-Time Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant The Hillside Public Library is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. This position is responsible for all financial record keeping, vendor relations, purchase orders, cash tally reconciliation, bank deposit reconciliation, monthly preparation of Board Meeting financial reports, Board Meeting minutes recording and preparation, payment of bills, supply inventory, payroll and paid time off record keeping, and other duties as required by the Library Director. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
SCHEDULE: 21 - 25 hours per week, including at least 1 evening/month for Board Meetings SALARY RANGE: $20 - $25/hour depending on experience; includes prorated paid sick and vacation leave REPORTS TO: This position reports directly to the Library Director. Candidates must be willing to become a New Jersey resident within one year of hire. Hillside Public Library offers prorated vacation and sick time. This is a Civil Service position.Please note that this position is subject to the NJ First Act, requiring public employees to establish residency in the State of New Jersey.
