This award recognizes one or more deserving individuals for innovative and creative work in a New Jersey library in 2019.
CRITERIA:
- Individual must be a current NJLA member.
- Individuals can be nominated for this award in one of three categories:
- Librarians who have been working for less than five years
- Paraprofessionals who have been working for less than five years
- Students who have performed exemplary research and/or worked in the field of Library Science (internship, PhD program, development of an innovative idea of program, etc)
- Examples of “Innovative and Creative Work” could include:
- Initiating a new service or program
- Reaching out to an underserved population
- Taking his or her library in a new direction
- Creating a model service or project for other libraries to emulate
