Ho-Ho-Kus’ Worth-Pinkham Memorial Library seeks an enthusiastic, creative, good-humored Youth Services Librarian to join our team. The Youth Services Librarian oversees and administers the daily operations of the library's Children's and Young Adult departments. An MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program is preferred, but consideration will be given to candidates currently enrolled in library school.

Responsibilities include building relationships with children, caregivers, local schools, and organizations, planning and implementing programs for infants to teens, collection development, readers advisory, and more. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is friendly, proficient in technology, and able to work well as part of a small team. A love for children and some experience working in a public or school library are required. Applicants should possess a strong understanding of current library trends and best practices in youth services.

Full-time employees are required to work 35 hours/week, including occasional evenings and one Saturday per month. Salary meets the NJLA minimum for candidates with an MLIS or equivalent.
