FT Business Manager - Avalon Free Public Library

The Avalon Library is seeking a FT Business Manager to maintain accounting and personnel records, prepare financial reports and documentation pertinent to a municipal library, and handle administrative duties for the organization. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of office administration/human resources experience or HS Diploma with at least 4 years of experience in office administration/human resources, preferably in a municipal or library setting. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Nationally recognized HR certification such as PHR or SHRM, preferred. Bookkeeping and/or municipal financial software experience, preferred. Review job description for all position requirements. Salary meets NJLA recommendations for an Administrative Secretary and the position includes a competitive benefits package. Schedule may include the occasional evening or weekend day to support community outreach. Employment offers are conditional upon a successful background and reference check and include a probationary period.
