All types of research published from March 2022 to March 2023 will be considered, including books, journal articles, bibliographies, and electronic publications. A New Jersey librarian practicing or professionally active in the New Jersey library community must be the author or co-author. Doctoral dissertations and master’s theses are not eligible; however, publications based on them will be considered. Individuals may nominate themselves or a colleague.
Nominations should include the following information:
- A letter of nomination that specifies the evidence for and the significance of the original research
- A copy of the publication in either electronic or hard copy format
- An abstract, if not included in the publication
- Contact information for the author/s
At the NJLA Conference, the winner will present the content of their research and provide an overview of their research strategies and processes in order to provide guidance to librarians looking to research and publish.
