Are you passionate about connecting young people with books,
creativity, and community? The Avalon Free Public Library is seeking a
part-time, year-round Youth Services Librarian to lead and grow our programs
and services for children and teens.

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and
delivering engaging events for ages 0–17—including storytimes, craft workshops,
after-school activities, and teen programs. You'll help create a welcoming,
vibrant space in our youth areas, assist young readers and their families with
book recommendations, and build strong connections with local schools through
outreach and collaboration.

You’ll also support the promotion of youth services — helping
to distribute marketing and social media content, and coordinating registration
and participation in programs like our Summer Reading Challenge. Saturday hours
and some evening hours are required based on programming needs. This is a
fantastic opportunity to bring your creativity, energy, and love of learning to
a community-focused library team.

·
Experience working with youth in a professional

·
Excellent communication, organization, and
customer service skills

·
Comfort with technology, including Microsoft
Office and general A/V equipment

·
