How do I renew my membership?
How do I update my e-mail address and login?
To update the e-mail address where you receive emails from NJLA, go to your Member Compass and change it under PROFILE.
To change your login, update your LOGIN EMAIL under LOGIN AND PASSWORD.
How do I opt-in or -out of the Member Directory?
The NJLA Member Directory is opt-in to protect your privacy. To opt-in to the directory, log into njla.org and go to your Member Compass. Select Profile from the left side menu and scroll down until you see “Member Directory Opt-In”. Select your answer and save.

How much does it cost to post a job in the NJLA Career Center?
Institutional and Enhanced Institutional members have free job posting included with their membership. Otherwise, there is a $50 fee.
How do I post a job?
First, you must be logged into njla.org. If you do not already have an account, click on Join at the top left corner of the screen.
On the navigation menu, go to Career Center -> Post a Job. On the product listing select View then Add to Cart. After checkout, on the confirmation page, follow the link to job submission form.
When can I expect my job to be posted and for how long?
Jobs are posted every Tuesday. Jobs must be submitted by Monday, otherwise your post will be posted the following Tuesday.
Jobs are listed for one month unless you have specified an application deadline in your form submission.

Skilltype indexes training resources and opportunities from over 100 conferences and training providers, enhances the records with their proprietary skills ontology, and delivers them to users through a personalized recommendation engine. 

How Do I Log into Skilltype?
For those without an @njla.org email address, please follow these steps to access your Skilltype account:

Email Invitation Method:
You will receive a welcome email from Skilltype inviting you to join NJLA's organization profile. (check spam)
Click the blue "Continue" button in this email.

Using your work email?
You will then be directed to a page where you can select "Sign in with Google Workspace" or "Sign in with Microsoft" based on your organization's email system.

Using your personal email?
Enter in your first name, last name, postal code and personal email address and select "Create Account"
