Types of Memberships
There are three (3) classifications of membership in New Jersey Academic Librarians (NJAL).
NJLA Academic Libraries Section Member
Because NJAL is the Academic Libraries Section of the New Jersey Library Association (NJLA), NJLA members in good standing who join the Academic Libraries Section are voting members of NJAL. This includes librarians whose NJLA membership is through their library’s Enhanced Institutional Membership, as long as the librarian has also joined the Academic Libraries Section.
