Equity and Mentorship Committee

FUNCTIONS

Oversee and coordinate services and supports for the Equity Scholarship recipients including:

  • Accessing NJLA’s lifelong learning network, professional development opportunities, and community building efforts
  • Identifying opportunities to participate in NJLA Conference Poster Session and NJLA Internship program
  • Mentorship with New Jersey Librarians in coordination with LLNJ Professional development, training, and support from partners in the library ecosystem, particularly in relation to topics of equity, diversity, and inclusion
