Library Workers of Color (LWOC) Section

The Library Workers of Color Section provides professional support and career development for library workers of color, who remain underrepresented in librarianship both statewide and nationally. The section plans and sponsors social and continuing education events, as well as formal and informal mentorship pathways, to inspire, empower, and connect members through knowledge, opportunities, and mentorship. It also offers allies opportunities to support library workers of color in their professional growth, retention, and overall success in the field.

LWOC co-hosts the Diversity and Outreach Unconference.
