Nominate Yourself or a Colleague for the NJLA Executive Board (through January 1, 2027)

We are looking for NJLA members to serve on the Executive Board. Open seats:

  • Vice President/President-Elect (July 1, 2027–June 30, 2028; President, July 1, 2028–June 30, 2029; Immediate Past President, July 1, 2029–June 30, 2030)
  • Secretary (July 1, 2027–June 30, 2028)
  • Three (3) Members-at-Large (July 1, 2027–June 30, 2030)

 

The board decides how NJLA focuses its time, money, and advocacy work. If you want to help shape how NJLA serves its members, library staff across the state, and everyone in New Jersey who relies on public or academic libraries, this is your chance.

You do not need board experience or any specific title or job description to serve on NJLA’s Executive Board. Association governance works best when it represents people from all kinds of libraries in all stages of their careers: your perspective is what counts.

You can nominate yourself or a colleague. Details on each role are in the NJLA Bylaws and NJLA collects nominations through its Nomination Form. If you have any questions, contact an NJLA staff members or a member of the current NJLA Executive Board.
