Join Our Team: Dynamic Youth Services Librarian

Plainsboro Public Library is seeking a passionate, creative professional to inspire and engage young readers in our vibrant community. We're looking for an innovative Youth Services Librarian who will bring energy, imagination, and a love of learning to our library.

What You'll Do:

• Be the heart of our youth services, connecting children, tweens, and teens with amazing books, technology, and learning experiences
• Create exciting, innovative programs that spark curiosity and imagination
• Provide personalized reading recommendations that help young patrons discover their next favorite book
• Develop engaging activities in our Science Center
• Collaborate with local schools and community organizations to expand the library's reach
• Support young patrons with technology access and guidance
• Collection development, focused on children and teen literature

What We're Looking For:

• Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program
• Proven experience in youth services in a public library setting
• Deep passion for children's and teen literature
• Strong technology skills and comfort with digital resources
• Creativity in program development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current New Jersey Professional Librarian Certificate
